Dr. Patti Bailie, an associate professor of Early Childhood Education at UMF, has worked in the field of early childhood environmental education for 30 years. Her presentation will feature a comprehensive look at nature based education. What is nature based education and its value to a child’s educational development? How can it be integrated in schools and early childhood programs?
