Weekly check-in with Jessica from the UMaine 4-H Learning Centers at Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove. With the 4-H and Earth Pledges, nature appreciations (what we've been noticing in nature this week), and a reflection. Today we reflect on partnerships, collaborations, and networks--how they help people and organizations be stronger. We are made to connect and through connecting with the world around us, as well as local organizations, we become an integrated part of our community--helping it to thrive. Tanglewood is made of a set of partnerships with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension and 4-H, our non-profit board of directors, and the Bureau of Parks and Lands as a portion of the Camden Hills State Parks. In the coming year, we aim to do more to promote and celebrate these connections. How do you connect to your local community, whether the natural or human world? How can you strengthen your connections?
