September 17th marks the federal observance of the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine Constitutional Convention delegates on September 17, 1787 in Philadelphia. Since 2004, September 17th has also been designated as Citizenship day, recognizing all, who are born in the United States or through naturalization, have become citizens.
What a better way to celebrate Constitution and Citizenship Day than to host a Constitution Day Lecture! This year, Professor Joseph Singer of Harvard Law School delivered a lecture titled "Indian Nations and the Constitution: What Americans Need to Know."
