The First Annual Indian Law and History Lecture, hosted by Maine Law, features Matthew L.M. Fletcher, Professor of Michigan State School of Law, and Sherri Mitchell, attorney, author, and Executive Director of the Land Peace Foundation. The lecture moderator is Donna Loring, author, broadcaster, and former Senior Advisor on Tribal Affairs to Governor Janet Mills.
The purpose of the lecture is to provide attendees with a special opportunity to learn from experts about the field of federal Indian law as it applies in Maine and across the United States.
